Minimum wage in 2027: PLN 4,950 and PLN 32.30 per hour
From 1 January 2027, the minimum wage will be PLN 4,950 and the minimum hourly rate PLN 32.30. They are set by the regulation of the Council of Ministers of 14 September 2026 (Dz.U. 2026 item 1213).
For comparison: 2026
Until the end of 2026, the amounts from the regulation of 11 September 2025 (Dz.U. 2025 item 1242) apply: PLN 4,806 minimum wage and PLN 31.40 minimum hourly rate.
Why this matters
- The minimum hourly rate applies, among others, to contracts of mandate (umowa zlecenia) and contracts for the provision of services. The National Labour Inspectorate (Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy, PIP) inspects whether it is paid.
- The amounts protected from deductions from pay depend on the minimum wage. We describe this in the guide What can an employer deduct from your wages and how much must it leave you?
- If your employer does not pay your wages, you can use the routes described in the guide Your employer did not pay your wages on time. What can you do?
We give the gross amounts from the regulations. We do not give net amounts, because they depend on individual contributions and tax.
