What the site is

inspekcja-pracy.pl is an independent information site about the National Labour Inspectorate (Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy, PIP), employees' rights and employers' obligations. We help you get from a problem to action: understand the rules, prepare a letter and find the competent inspectorate.

The site has four parts:

• a directory of inspectorates with contact details copied from PIP websites,
• a competent inspectorate finder based on the TERYT register and the act on the competence of District Labour Inspectorates,
• guides with sources and the date they were checked,
• letter generators and tools that run in your browser.

What the site is not

inspekcja-pracy.pl is not a website of the National Labour Inspectorate or a public authority. We do not act on behalf of the PIP, we do not accept complaints or requests, and we do not forward letters to inspectorates. Downloading a document from a generator does not mean it has been filed. A complaint is filed directly with a District Labour Inspectorate (okręgowy inspektorat pracy, OIP).

We do not give legal advice in individual cases. Free labour law advice is provided by the PIP: telephone numbers and advice hours.

How we work

We take office data from PIP websites and compare it with the source every day. We base our guides on the texts of legal acts and the websites of public offices.
