Termination of a contract of mandate: letter generator
You can terminate a contract of mandate (umowa zlecenia) at any time (Article 746 of the Civil Code), unless the contract sets a notice period. The generator prepares the letter and a demand for settlement of the completed part of the mandate.

The document is created in Polish. The letter goes to a Polish authority or employer, and Polish is the official language in Poland (Article 27 of the Constitution). The form and tips are translated, but we generate the letter in Polish. Write your description of the matter in Polish or ask someone to help you translate it.
How to use the generator
- The contractor may terminate the mandate at any time. If the mandate is paid and the termination was without an important reason, the contractor is liable for damage (Article 746 § 2 of the Civil Code). The right to terminate for important reasons cannot be waived in advance (Article 746 § 3).
- If your work looked like employment (fixed hours, instructions, place of work), consider whether it was in fact an employment relationship. If so, you may have other rights.
